From Burnout to Rooted
Have you ever thought, “Once I get the certification, I’ll be set”?
I did too.
But here’s the truth no one told me: the path of becoming —whether it’s as a coach, a leader, a business owner, or simply a human trying to live a more aligned life—is not a one-and-done journey.
It’s an apprenticeship of the heart.
When I joined the CFJ Coaching Success School four years ago, I was recovering from burnout, navigating a seizure disorder, and starting over after losing my home. I had passion and grit—but no systems. No sustainable way to serve and stay well.
What I’ve learned since then has reshaped everything:
✨ My health (three years seizure-free)
✨ My business (a full coaching roster and growing)
✨ And my relationship with myself (from proving to planting)
The CFJ School didn’t just grow my business—it helped me learn how to garden my gifts. With presence. With care. With trust in the process.
I made a short video sharing more of my story and what I’ve learned:
If you’re in a season of building something—whether it’s your business, your confidence, your creative life, or your well-being—I want to remind you of this:
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
We’re taught to be self-sufficient. To push through. To “graduate” and move on.
But the truth is, staying supported—being seen, being coached, being in community—is often the very thing that makes the difference.
Not because you can’t do it on your own.
But because you don’t have to.
Support allows us to become not someone else, but more of who we really are.
And if your path doesn’t feel like a big “Hell Yes” right now… if it feels quiet, or hard, or even like an honest “Oh no…”—don’t ignore it.
That may be your soul letting you know: this will grow you.
With aloha for your journey,
Terra Ann
P.S. This month, I’m participating in a program that I think some of you might deeply love. It’s called Birth Your Masterpiece—and it’s not just another productivity sprint or course to power through.
It’s a sacred 28-day email journey to help you clarify your creative path, unearth the golden thread of your deeper calling, and move through resistance with courage and grace.
✨ Just 5–10 minutes a day.
✨ Thoughtful, guided reflections.
✨ No fluff. Just real, steady momentum.
It’s helping me get even clearer on what I’m meant to build next—and I wanted to share it in case it meets you at the right moment too.
As Mary Oliver asked:
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
This might be a beautiful place to begin answering.

I’ll be in the work right alongside you.
