All Things Friendship
“The language of friendship is not words, but meanings.”
– Henry David Thoreau
On Sunday September 27th - I’ll be hosting a workshop on all things friendship with my friend and fellow coach, Erika Faith. There are still spots available - we hope to see you there.
A Workshop On All Things Friendship A Conversation on Connection
We’ll explore the friendships that shape us, our changing values in friendship, and how to navigate closeness, agreements, boundaries, conflict, and change with a bit more clarity.
And it’s going to be fun.
Sunday, September 27 12:00–2:30 PM The Dragon Building, Kapaʻa Complimentary 22 seats available
Bring a friend, or come on your own and meet someone new.
Since moving to Kauaʻi, I’ve been thinking a lot about friendship.
Maybe it’s because everything here is still becoming familiar.
The one major road.
The farmers markets.
The faces at the beach. The invitations. The quiet.
Or maybe it’s because my values have shifted.
There was a time when friendship meant keeping up. Being available. Saying yes. Staying easy to reach.
These days, I’m more curious about friendships where there is room for honesty, repair, spaciousness, laughter, and real conversation.
No such thing as the perfect friendship, I suppose.
Only friendships that fit.
And what fits changes as we do.
Friendship comes up often in coaching conversations, more often than you might think. Yes, folks talk about work, marriage, money, family, and stress. And underneath so much of that is connection.
Who sees me clearly?
Where do I feel like myself?
Where am I overgiving?
Where do I need to speak more honestly?
So even if you’re not able to join us in Kapa’a, here’s something to sit with:
Think of a friendship in your life.
What do you value there?
What feels mutual?
What might need a clearer agreement, a kinder boundary, or a more honest conversation?
These are some of the questions we’ll explore in our workshop. Send me an email at aloha@terraann.com to reserve your space.
