When Anger Shows Up
Staying Steady in the Heat of the Moment
A 3-part virtual series for leaders and changemakers who want to understand anger, communicate more clearly, and stay connected when emotions run high.
Anger doesn’t always look like yelling.
Sometimes it looks like irritation. Resentment. Going quiet. Overexplaining. Saying yes when you mean no. Replaying the conversation hours later and wishing you’d said something differently.
And sometimes anger is simply telling you: something matters here.
This series is an opportunity to slow those moments down and understand what’s actually happening beneath the reaction.
We’ll explore how to recognize activation earlier, listen for what anger may be communicating, and turn that information into clearer conversations, cleaner requests, stronger boundaries and repair when things don’t go the way we hoped.
Anger is information, not instruction.
The goal isn’t to never feel angry.
It’s to become more skillful with what happens next.
You’ll have space to work with real situations from your own life and leadership, including the conversations you’ve been avoiding, the boundaries you’re struggling to hold, the moments you’re taking too personally, and the places where keeping everyone else comfortable is costing you something.
You may recognize yourself here if you’re getting activated faster than you’d like, holding things in until irritation becomes resentment, worrying that honesty will upset someone, struggling to say no without a lengthy explanation, or wanting to be direct without becoming harsh or defensive.
Your 3-Part Experience
Workshop 1: When Anger Shows Up
Tuesday, October 27
10:00 AM–12:00 PM HST
1:00–3:00 PM PT | 2:00–4:00 PM MT | 3:00–5:00 PM CT | 4:00–6:00 PM ET
We’ll look at what happens before, during and after activation, and practice ways to create enough space between feeling and reaction to choose what you actually want to say or do.
Individual Integration Session
Week of November 3
Scheduled individually
Bring a real situation from your work or life. We’ll slow it down together and explore what the anger, frustration or discomfort may be pointing toward, then work toward the conversation, request or boundary that feels clear and honest.
Workshop 2: From Reaction to Response
Tuesday, November 10
10:00 AM–12:00 PM HST
12:00–2:00 PM PT | 1:00–3:00 PM MT | 2:00–4:00 PM CT | 3:00–5:00 PM ET
We’ll bring the learning back into relationship and practice the skills that matter when another human being is actually in the room: clarity, listening, boundaries, requests, repair and staying connected to yourself under pressure.
A Special Early Registration Invitation
Register by September 30 and you’ll receive an additional private coaching session with me.
That means you’ll have two individual coaching sessions to use before the end of 2026, rather than the one session included with the series.
Use the additional session for a difficult conversation, leadership challenge, boundary, relationship dynamic, decision, or something else that would benefit from focused support.

You don’t have to choose between honesty and connection.
You can disappoint someone and still care about them.
You can set a boundary without making someone wrong.
You can feel anger without letting IT decide what happens next.
And you can learn to say what needs to be said with more clarity, steadiness and care.
